CANADIAN MULTI-PLATINUM ROCKERS LOVERBOY RETURN WITH "ROCK 'N' ROLL REVIVAL" VIA FRONTIERS RECORDS AUGUST 14TH
MASSIVE TOUR SUPPORTING JOURNEY AND PAT BENATAR FEATURING
NEIL GIRALDO KICKS OFF JULY 21ST
(New York, NY) - For more than three decades, veteran multi-platinum Canadian rockers Loverboy have been lovin' every minute of it...and now are proud to announce the upcoming worldwide release of ROCK 'N' ROLL REVIVAL via Frontiers Records.
The album is set for an August 14th release in the United States and Canada and features nine newly re-recorded Loverboy hits, as well as three brand new songs. Loverboy founder/guitarist and producer of the album, Paul Dean commented, "The new songs on this album are in the same spirit as our classic material. Working with our old friend, Bob Rock, on 'Heartbreaker' and 'No Tomorrow' was very easy and natural. And, the track 'Rock 'n' Roll Revival' brought Mike Reno and me back to our collaborative spirit of the 80's. As far as the classic hits on the album, these songs are reflective of the evolution of our past 30 years of playing them LIVE."
Featuring original band members Mike Reno, Paul Dean, Matt Frenette, Doug Johnson along with Ken "Spider" Sinnaeve (who replaced the late Scott Smith), Loverboy recently reunited at Bryan Adams' Vancouver studio The Warehouse, with their original engineer, legendary producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Aerosmith, The Cure, Bon Jovi) to record the two new songs which are included on the album, "Heartbreaker" and "No Tomorrow," which were added to another specially-written new track, "Rock 'n' Roll Revival." The re-recorded hit tracks capture 30+ years of the evolution of each song during Loverboy's stellar live shows.
Next month, Loverboy will hit the road on a massive nationwide tour as special guests supporting Journey and Pat Benatar featuring Neil Giraldo. This tour comes full circle for Loverboy as they played with Journey three decades ago, in support of their iconic album, GET LUCKY.
Please see below for confirmed tour dates, with more to be announced.
For more than 30 years, LOVERBOY has been "Working for the Weekend" and on weekends, delighting audiences around the world since forming in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. With their trademark red leather pants, bandannas, big rock sound and high-energy live shows, Loverboy has sold more than 10 million albums, earning four multi-platinum plaques, including the four-million-selling GET LUCKY, and a trio of double-platinum releases in their self-titled 1980 debut, 1983's KEEP IT UP and 1985's LOVIN' EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Their string of hits includes, in addition to the anthem "Working for the Weekend," such arena rock staples as "Lovin' Every Minute of It," "This Could Be the Night," "Hot Girls in Love," "Heaven In Your Eyes," "Turn Me Loose," "When It's Over," "Heaven In Your Eyes" and "Queen of the Broken Hearts."

LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM
CONTINUES U.S. TOUR;
NEW DATES BEGIN JULY 26
CONTINUES U.S. TOUR;
NEW DATES BEGIN JULY 26
June 26, 2012 -- Due to overwhelming demand, LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM (Fleetwood Mac) is extending his critically-acclaimed U.S. tour with additional dates on the East coast and Midwest. He’s also making a few stops in Canada. The new six-week trek begins July 26 in Birmingham, AL and lasts through September 8 in Rama, Ontario. As for the rest of the country, they need not worry, as even more tour dates are in the works and will be announced in the coming weeks.
In his intimate-one-man show, Lindsey will showcase his distinctive guitar picking style and instantly recognizable voice in his usual awe-inspiring form, captivating his audience with songs from his recent album, SEEDS WE SOW, as well as performing a combination of favorites from his previous solo albums, along with a variety of Fleetwood Mac classics.
Regarding the new tour he says, "As I've grown as an artist, I've gotten more and more in touch with my center, and that center is voice and guitar. Over time it has become increasingly vital to express more with less; that is my touchstone now, and the embodiment of that philosophy is what will be largely represented in the new show. I've been thinking of doing this kind of tour for a while, and am quite excited to be doing something new, something outside my comfort zone."

SHINEDOWN’s
brand new video for
“UNITY”
Shinedown’s new album AMARYLLIS was released earlier this year and made a #1 chart debut on Billboard’s “Rock Albums” chart, and a #4 debut on the Billboard 200
The album’s first single “Bully” hit #1 at Rock radio, marking Shinedown’s 7th consecutive chart-topper at the format
Shinedown have recently performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Conan
“AMARYLLIS” sees Shinedown joining forces once more with multiple Grammy Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo (Kid Rock, Green Day), who previously collaborated with the band on the record-breaking “THE SOUND OF MADNESS.” Recorded at Cavallo’s Lightning Sound studios outside of Los Angeles and a pair of Hollywood landmarks, Ocean Way Recording and Capitol Studios, the album was named among “This Year’s Best Bets” by Billboard, which noted the inventive addition of synths, a 27-piece orchestra, and a 10-piece horn section to the band’s powerful hard rock.
“THE SOUND OF MADNESS” (2008) proved Shinedown’s mainstream breakthrough, debuting at #8 on the Billboard 200 before spending 120 consecutive weeks on the chart.
The album made rock music history, with each of its six singles reaching #1 on the airplay rankings. Among them are such hits as “Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom),” “Devour,” “Sound of Madness,” “The Crow and The Butterfly,” the gold certified “If You Only Knew,” and the double-platinum certified crossover smash, “Second Chance“ – all of which rose to the top of the airplay charts, marking an astonishing streak of rock radio classics.
