Z-Rock update message

Z ROCK 2010 DAY 1 REVEALED

We can now reveal part of day1 of Z Rock 2010's proceedings. We are currently in talks with another named act and we hope to announce them in the near future.

Currently confirmed are .... PRAYING MANTIS nwobhm hero's Praying Mantis will be appearing playing material from their critically acclaimed releases of late and their classic period.
Next up STAMPEDE, Stampede went down a storm last year but some of the Z crew missed their set due to business outside the venue, so we decided to bring them back because we can ;O).
We have offered the opening slot on a Friday over recent year to a unsigned band, this year we are proud to unveil KINN whom are based in the midlands and are highly recommended.

We have worked hard to keep ticket prices down over the 2 days, and that exactly what we have done with a near 20% reduction compared to 07, 08 and 09 for those whom take up the early bird offers.

Tickets for the show can be obtained now at the special discount rate of £17.50 [£22.50 after offer period] if purchased before April 16th, to do so call 07818 258294 mon - fri [9am -6pm] or Saturday [9am - 12 noon] or email info@zrecords.net
Tickets will not go on sale from JB's, ST Records or X Records until April 17th [at full price] In the interest of keeping the ticket prices down we have opted not to use the paypal service as in previous years dueto costs for using this service. However non UK residents can use paypal email for details.

The show will be staged at JB's, Dudley, England on Friday October 1st 2010. further information can be found at www.myspace.com/zrockfest we hope to see you there.

and finally ... some sad news ...

My thoughts go out to my good friend back home in England, Steve Newman, whose new album by his own band Newman, 'The Art of Balance' was just released this week and he should be enjoying that.
Sadly instead, he has just lost his mother who passed away this week and had been battling illness since last year.
Sincere condolences Steve, to you and your family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
