Rock News for Sunday 10th January, 2010

UK AOR rocker Newman with brief update ... Press release to follow soon!

Steve Newman, the man behind the very classy AOR rock act Newman, has just recently posted a very slight update on his MySpace page, this is the statement posted there:

Happy New Year !!!!

Hi fellow MySpacer's !!!
Happy New Year to everyone
We've uploaded two new songs "Edge Of The World" and "Endless" from the forthcoming album.
There will be a full press release on http://www.newmansound.com/ asap.
Thanks for your continued support.

I must say that the 2 tracks sound very good indeed and anyone that has not yet given this band a chance, should certainly give this new material some serious attention.
Last year, Newman were given the title of band of the day by many attendees of UK Rock festival Z-Rock that John Waite headlined.
Here's hoping that 2010 gives this much underrated artist, the attention he's long overdue!
